Your Story Is Someone Else’s Lifeline — Don’t Keep It to Yourself

Come and hear, all ye that fear God, and I will declare what he hath done for my soul.
— Psalm 66:16
Hello, dear friend. We made it to the last day of April together, and I am so grateful for every woman who has walked through this month of Scripture, reflection, and growth. Today’s devotional is short — because the assignment is not to read. It’s to speak. To declare. To testify.
The psalmist’s invitation in Psalm 66:16 is beautifully simple: come and hear what God has done for my soul. Not what He has done in general — for my soul. Personal. Specific. Lived. That is the most powerful kind of testimony there is. You don’t need a dramatic conversion story or a miraculous healing. You just need to tell the truth about what God has done in you.

Why Your Testimony Matters More Than You Know
Somewhere out there is a woman who is exactly where you were at the beginning of this month. She’s struggling with her singleness, questioning whether God sees her, wondering if faith is worth the effort. And your story — your honest, imperfect, Spirit-filled story — might be the exact thing that helps her take one more step toward God.
Revelation 12:11 tells us that the saints overcame by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony. Your testimony is a weapon of spiritual warfare. It declares that God is real, that He is faithful, and that He shows up for ordinary women in ordinary seasons. Don’t underestimate it.
How to Share What God Has Done This Month
Tell a friend: Text or call one person today and tell them one specific thing God has done in you this month. Not a sermon — just an honest, personal declaration.
Share on social media: Post one verse that marked you this month with a sentence about why it matters to you. You have no idea who is watching and waiting for exactly that word.
Write it down for yourself: Even if you share with no one else today, write your testimony in your journal. Document what God did for your soul in April 2025. One day you’ll read it back and be moved by how faithfully He met you.
Friend, thank you for walking through this month with me. You have been living the Word out loud, and the world around you is better for it. Now go declare what He has done for your soul. Someone needs to hear it today.
Reflection Prompt
In your journal today, write your April testimony in three parts: (1) Where I was at the beginning of this month. (2) What God met me with in His Word. (3) How I am different now. Then share it — with one person, on your social media, or in the comments below. Let your voice join the chorus of women declaring what God has done for their souls.
