For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Jeremiah 29:11
Many of us have had moments in our lives when we felt lonely, especially during our single years. I remember a time when my friends were getting engaged one after the other; I often found myself questioning my worth. Was I not deserving of love? Was God withholding something good from me? In those moments of doubt, Jeremiah 29:11 became my lifeline. The Lord wants us to have an expected end - a future filled with hope and love.

When we trust in God’s plan, we begin to see our circumstances through a new lens. Our singleness is not a punishment but a precious season to grow closer to Him. God is intricately weaving our story, and while it may feel incomplete at times, He is preparing us for wonderful things ahead.
Embracing the Waiting Season
Are you tired of waiting? I understand how exhausting and frustrating it can feel. However, we should not allow frustration to diminish our faith. Here are some practical ways to embrace this season of waiting:
Engage in Deepening Your Relationship with God: Use this time to strengthen your prayer life, read scripture, and spend time worshiping. The closer you grow to Him, the clearer His plan becomes.
Invest in Yourself: Develop your skills, pursue hobbies, and engage in community activities. This not only makes you a well-rounded individual but also prepares you for your future partner.
Build Strong Friendships: Surround yourself with supportive friends who uplift you and enjoy your journey together. Strong relationships with others can help alleviate feelings of loneliness.
Be Open to God’s Surprises: Sometimes, our expectations can limit what God wants to do in our lives. Stay open and be willing to embrace unexpected blessings.
God's timing is perfect, and His plans are good. We may not always understand what He is doing, but we can trust that He is using our wait for a purpose far greater than we can imagine. Like a seed buried in the ground, growth often requires a period of darkness before it can blossom into something beautiful.
