You Are the Reason God Wrote This Book

Let His Love Flow Through You

And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. 1 John 4: 16

Have you ever experienced a moment that made you feel truly cherished? A friend surprising you with a coffee, a phone call from a family member just when you needed to hear a comforting voice, or even a day spent basking in the sunshine surrounded by nature's beauty? These moments remind us of the overwhelming love that God offers us every day.

Let His Love Flow Through You

As single women, it can often feel like our lives are on hold, waiting for that special someone to arrive. Yet, in the midst of our waiting, we must remember that we are never alone. God’s love envelops us in every moment, encouraging us to lean into it instead of waiting for external validation. His love is a perfect gift that satisfies our souls and encourages us to overflow with that love into the lives of those around us.

Sharing His Love with Others

When we truly understand that we are surrounded by God’s love, it nourishes and transforms us. This means we can be vessels of His love, offering it freely to others. Perhaps a friend is going through a rough time; maybe a family member needs a listening ear. In those moments, let the love you have received from Christ flow through you to others. The more we give, the more we embody the love that is at the heart of our faith.

Spiritual Application

Let’s reflect on how God’s love is not just for us, but for everyone. Here are a few practical ways you can share His love while continuing to embrace the singleness season:

  • Encourage Someone: A simple text or call can uplift someone’s spirit. Share a scripture that speaks to you!

  • Volunteer: Share your time at a local charity or church. Helping others can make a world of difference.

  • Be Present: Whether it’s a friend or family member, being there for someone who needs you embodies Christ’s love through your actions.

In this journey of faith, let’s remember that love is more than a feeling; it’s a decision we make daily to offer kindness, understanding, and support to those around us. Never forget, you are cherished, loved beyond measure, and here to reflect that same love to the world.

Reflection Prompt

Take a moment to sit in silence and ask the Lord how you can spread His love today. Write down any thoughts or actions that come to mind. How will you let His love flow through you this week?
